Youth Council
The Plain City Youth Council was established to provide opportunities for young men and women, in grades 8-12, to enhance their involvement in city government through volunteerism, leadership, and event & activity planning. Members of the council must be residents of Plain City.
The council actively participates in community and city events which include: Veterans Dinner, Founder’s Day, 4th of July Days, Summer Movies in the Park, Weber County Fair, Pumpkin Walk/Pumpkin Hunt, and the Christmas Tree Lighting. The council continually seeks for ways to encourage involvement, improve engagement and provide service to the community.
Members of the PCYC are expected to attend all meetings, actively participate in events and be upstanding members of the community.
